it would be funny if it did not cost so much to fix. I doubt that fixing the tranny had anything to do with spitting a turbo. I took it to a different mechanic and he said that everything around the turbos looked good, but he pulled the intake pipe and there was 3/4 " of oil. Makes a irritating screetch above 3500 rpm. It still runs fine, but it is on the way out. He is going to give me a quote on replacment of the twins... not sure what I am going to do. I have good mind to part it out myself.

If the trans is a tip with the new TC then some K04s wouldn't be a bad idea right about now

Otherwise I feel your pain. I bought my AR with new suspension and trans, and I'm just keeping my fingers crossed the turbos stick with it for at least another year.

Maybe rebuilding them is an option for you if there isn't much damage.
