US to UK headlight conversion

US to UK headlight conversion
I'm moving back to the UK and contemplating taking my beloved 2001 allroad back with me. Yes, I know that they drive on the other side, and yes I have been warned how dangerous it is.
To be legal over there I have to replace the Xenons because they focus in the wrong direction.... bad news they are 500 pounds each! (read about $900). A UK dealer said that the UK spec allroads have a lever (or some type of adjustment)behind the headlamps that allows changes to the direction of focus (in case you want to take the car over to the continent). Does anyone know if the US spec headlamps have a similar fitting..... I can't look as I'm in the UK right now.
