Use Costco for $844 installed 4X 225/55WR17 Mich Pilot Sport A/S or go elsewhere for

BUT- the 225/55-17 Michelin is much taller than the 225/55-17 OE tire. Shouldn't be but is.....
I tried this route, and ended up pullng off the 225/55 Pilot Sport A/S tires.

Tire on the left is the 225/55 Pilot, tire in center is 225/55 OE Goodyear, tire on right is 245/50 Pilot.
This is how much different the tire height really is:

I used Costco for a set of tires on a past vehicle..
and was happy with the sale and install. But getting them rotated was always at least a 1/2 day affair. I would get there at 8am and it would still take 2-4 hours.
For the money get another tires place to pricematch or at least get close, unless you can waste a lot of time for rotations.

Re: 225 P/S are taller than OEM, 245/50/17 are a perfect fit plus a bit wider!
Thought I'd register just to thank you for the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 245/50ZR17 WR recommendation. Bang on! The GoodYear 225/55R17 OEM's on my 2002 2.7T 6sp Allroad bounced at 90-100kph since the minute I drove it off the lot and onto a freeway. The Vancouver Audi dealership had tried spacers and balancing without success. The ride was bumpy like that of an abused rental car. The change with the new tires was immediate and dramatic! The ride finally justifies the rest of the car. note: The new Michs are approximately 1/2" diameter taller than GY OEM @ 40,000kms
