I ordered and installed a set of GenII bags and Billy Sports in November '12. Mine are doing great so far. I put some lithium grease on the o-rings before install. Mine have been in for almost three months and have about 4k miles on them.
Pinch bolt trick... both mine broke but I still got them out in under 5 minutes. I just used a bunch of washers as spacers on the threaded end of the bolt. Then TIGHTEN the nut on the bot, yes tighten it. That will pull the remaining part of the pinch bolt through the housing. The bolts usually break towards the head, so that part will usually pull out easily. The other end will come out easy using washers as spacers and tightening the nut. You may have to stop part way through and add more washers.

Wow. These are looking great and more solidly built. Seems like they were manufactured less than a month ago (29.01.13). Way less rubber on them and held up by four collars...
May give them a try once my newly installed OEM front bags fail again. I came across a pair of brand new Audi OEM bags and mounting kits for $400 tax inc. I also replaced the piston ring and cylinder head o-ring on my air compressor. No more compressor on-off cycling while I drive.
I did not need to remove pinch bolt. I just removed the large bolt at the bottom of the shock, and the three bolts in engine bay (top of suspension hat). I was then able to swing out the bag and shock, and gain access to triple square bolts on top of bag. Couldn't of done it myself without the great forum DIY's and feedback from its members.

Billy Sports
I've had my Gen 2/Billstein Sports on the car for about 5 months. Front right started making some clunking noises along with some shaking over bumps. After some investigating, it appears that the Billstein may be blown. I'll be taking it apart in the next few days. What a headache just to check for a blown Billy!
