Default Warranty Advice..follow up

My own dealer sales rep called me back...he lowered the price of the AUDI extended warrany from $2800 to $2350.00

Is this a better warranty than WARRANYBROKERS.com has to offer? For the sake of the $400.00 difference, I'm inclined to think that there is a bit more peace of mind with the Audi plan...

Comments?

Default comments & question

When I called my dealer (Beiner, Long Island, NY) they said they had no knowledge of an "Audi sponsored" extended warranty.

I was planning to go with autowarrantybroker, I have a quote of $2150 for 5year/100000 mi, based on prior post discussions.

Default Call Anchor...Barry Cohen, my rep...

You don't have to buy it from your sales dealer... I've read the contract...its an Audi VW extension.

Default I'd call AOA and see if they have any knowledge of a "audi" extended warranty.

I'm thinking the dealer is just selling a generic extended warranty and adding $400 to the price.

What does it say about it being affiliated with AOA?

Default I'm falling in love hard with my 01 and feel like keeping it beyond 50K Was thinking I would

get an 04/05 4.2 at that point. But now, I don't know. I would love to put the assured seal on it to 100K and have some trouble free driving for 3-4 years. Where CAN you get the assured warranty? I called a dealer in CA/SF that said they would do it for me for a $ without taking possession. Anyone know how to get it done? Seems like a ridiculous clause that they have to 'take possession' to do the inspection and give it the assured seal.
