What do you call a engine revving 03 Vette on a red light ? = LUNCHTIME ;-)

Oh no, Please don't do that - no comparison to the S4 Forum....
These kind of "ego" competitions over there never added any real value, my little encounter was a matter of honor for the allroad....calling it a piece of **** simply wont fly with me, that is just disrespectful - would you have stepped down w/o at least trying?
It's really not about winning or losing anything, it was the attitude that was uncalled for.

Being an owner of both cars, only felt it fair to point out
A 2003 is "only" 350 hp, unless it was a C5 Z06 (405 hp). It is the newer C6 that has 400 hp (and quite a bit better torque curve). And if it was a slush box, it was that older 4 speed unit that has torque limiting built-in the ECU. Hence why there was bigger spread between the auto and the stick on the C5 versus the 6 speed auto on the C6.
If you're ever out West, would be fun to run it against my C6. Running 0-60 in the four second range in an allroad would mean you're putting out some real hp. That's RS6 territory; and would be damn impressive for a reliable daily driver.
The plastic car is fun, but like you mentioned, most knuckleheads who own them have little respect for Audi's. A trip out in the S4 usually turns them around a bit...especially once they sit in a real sport seat and ponder that it is a wagon. I must admit though that it would be a pleasure for Audi to shed some pounds. The Vette feels like a go kart in comparison to the allroad, and to some extent my S4.
Good story.

I've had the honor to drive a friend's C06 Callaway Vette, now that's more like it ;-)
He also owns a few Vettes, most of the older models are really slush boxes unless they went thru some serious upgrades.
The Callaway is actually the first Vette I really enjoyed driving (that's one reason why I usually leave these guys alone, you'll never know what's under the bonnet ;-)
I know that we will have most likely 2 SCCA Race prep'd C05's at VIR again, the nicest people you can meet and just great to hang out with. They offer rides in their race cars and just have fun with the rest of us.
So there you have it, some people just can't look outside of their own little box with a limited horizon and think life is all about competition.
And as long as Mr. Knucklehead is on the road and keeps beating down on other cars, we will have some more fun in the future.
My guess would be that it was probably a 350HP Vette because he was really kind of slow (he'll hopefully have some nightmares about Station Wagons ;-)
Speaking of reliability for a daily driver; I'd make an assessment after the VIR trip, so far the allroad has only 700 miles on it with the new setup.....and remember Murphy's law?
