Re: ouch!
The skateboarder in the green leathers crashed also. head over heels. he was foot braking, and caught the edge of his shoe on the board, causing a huge wob.
Not bad for a bunch of 40 year old dudes, huh? I was carrying the camera, shooting between my legs most the run. I thought you-uns might like an election day distraction...

it is, until you crash...
I raced in the San Francisco Gravity festival this year. We hit 58 mph on inlines. Our fastest inline qualifier was faster than the street luges.
The AR is the perfect support vehicle for the same reason its great for cycling and skiing. Now if I could just use mine...
your sig reminds me of the braves in '93. I was there. My grandmother watched every game they played from then until her death this year at 93 years young.

I must admit
I am an addict
The inlines are a bigger rush than a shifter kart.
I tried the skateboard a few weeks back. Wow. I was scared ****less when I wobbed at over 40.

He's fine. He crashes a lot
that's what the leathers and body armor are for.
If you'll notice, the guy in the green leathers has duct tape all over. He's figured out how many crashes per layer of duct tape. His suit is riveted together, sew with kevlar thread, several layers (rolls) of duct tape, new panels of leather, etc. His last crash on sunday blew out the zippers, so I think he'll have to start over with a new set of leathers.
I've gone through a set of leathers (vansons) and I'm well on the way to replacing a kevlar suit.
That road is 35-40 mph tops. We hit 50+ on some hills. Sliding at over 40 will get your attention for sure.
Come on out and give it a try. We have spare body armor, etc... You might need a chip for your brain though. Maybe a set of h-sports...
