Where's a good place to find a decent AR 2.7t 6MT? Are these very rare?

Default Where's a good place to find a decent AR 2.7t 6MT? Are these very rare?

What chances do I have at finding one under, say, $18k?

Default On ebay you can specify manual transmission in your search. Cars.com and autotrader.com also.

Default Any dealer can do a search of other dealer inventories; 6MT is much rarer than TIP.

Something like 15% of allroads are 6MT.

Default AudiUSA.com and search the CPO database

It'll search all the CPO inventory nation-wide at Audi Dealers.

Default I got mine for $16,700

in PERFECT condition. A 2001 with bose and heated seats...not bad....previous owner told me that only 10% of allroads made in 2001 were manual...cool.

Default Great deal. My 01 was $19k....

...I had an eye out for about 7 months, by the way, until the ideal vehicle came across the wires, and pulled the trigger in 3 days.

Default I looked for about a week and found it on trade in at a acura dealership

they had no idea what they had....when I turned the key to take a test drive the salesman flipped because the airsuspension self-leveled...he said "This thing's got air suspension??"....so that's why i got mine so cheap...oh yeah I had a buddy at audi run the VIN and get me all the service records and the previous owners contact info...so i had a chat with the 73 year old previous owner before I bought it....I lucked out with this car.

Default Another thought if you are looking for one that is not CPO would be to call Audi dealers around

you or search on their local websites....my dealer had an MT on the lot for over 6 months because no one (an enthusiast that is) knew it was there.
These may or may not be CPO but could still have extended warranties purchased for them possibly.
