White smoke from wheel well?

White smoke from wheel well?
I have a '04 2.7T that has a burning smell coming thru the AC and had white smoke come out of the front passenger side wheel well recently. The burning smell as gone on for a while and I've had the following fixed since I thought they were the problems: front brakes done a few months back, oil leaks repaired to both rear differential side seals, replaced seals for the timing chain tensioner gasket, valve cover gasket seals, and replaced the leak on the transmission pan gasket.
The burning smell continues and the white smoke out the wheel well just started to randomly show up. It usually has happened when the engine has started up for a while after sitting in the heat.
Any ideas of what this could be?

Have you installed the new vented oil filler cap? It relieves some of the pressure that can be placed on the 2.7 gaskets. White smoke in my case was a clogged breather system. But..it was below zero and froze. Not sure if sludge can clog the system.

im willing to bet its the cam chain tensioner seal on the rear of the passenger side bank of cylinders.
oil leaks from back there and onto the turbos and the smoke gets sucked into the hvac

x2 on the cam tensioner(s) seal(s)...just did mine and I thought all I had was leaky valve cover gaskets( they were both dry actually), which is strange as they are the originals at 175K)
