those are covered in clearbra for that exact reason.

front ~15" of hood, grille surround, front of mirrors, and A-pillars all have clearbra. they still look OK.

I'm amazed it's that cheap without insurance...if you're happy with the glass itself, sign me up...

I have exactly the same situation: sandblasted midwest car..with a crack originating from a rock chip. The last replacement I got was flawed, though...distorted right in the center of the driver side. So...you happy with yours? Clear? distortion free? play nice with the wipers?

Mine too...went through a couple on the last SUV's, thought they would have a fit

but they were really good about it...most of mine were from concrete and rock hauling trucks on the freeway

Glad this worked out well.

this cost me less than my deductable.

there is a 0 deductable glass option from my insurance here, but of course, I didn't buy that.

I think I had that back then, but lately I've upped all my deductables, so I don't

think it would work now...that is an amazing price though.
