I'm in a similar place - can barely see through my windhield when driving into the sun...

And the gift of OEM distortion makes me smile. Thinking about calling my insurance company soon...

So I'm actually shopping windshields today and I have found several manufacturers. There also is a difference between "insulated" and non-insulated glass. When I called Elite here in Las Vegas, they quoted me $286 installed for the PPG non-insulated and $425 for the insulated. I'm waiting on a call from another place that will do an insulated one for $340. Does anyone have an idea about what "insulated" means? Is it sound, heat, UV, or other? Please help, they are calling back soon!
