Object Detection Control Module Bracket Failure
So after having a warning light on for awhile stating an error on my Intersection Assistant, I took the car to the dealer and they're trying to charge me $1700 for a $20 broken bracket that is mounted directly under the skid/scratch plate of these ridiculously low front bumpers. It seems other Etron models have had a similar problem where these sensors are mounted to close to the bottoms of the cars and having problems with debris or other objects hitting them.
I told them there's no way I'm paying for this design flaw. It's the control module for front object detection radar sensor bracket that broke and now it's out of alignment.
Has anyone else had this issue?
