Audi e-tron GT Tire Pressure Recommended PSI, Bar, KPA. Tire size (correcttirepressure.com)

https://correcttirepressure.com/audi...tire-pressure/

Mine came set at 36.5 from dealer all around and heats up to 37.5 on freeway. Rides just fine, but wondering if i'm sacrificing tire life/range.

It's a balance between comfort & tire life vs battery life. You choose.

Seeing as you are running 4.5 psi low on the front and 7.5 psi low on the rear then yes, you are sacrificing tire life and range.

If you give next of your tires, I can make you an extra safe pressure/axleloadcapacity-list, with max reserve, at wich comfort and gripp are still acceptable.

1. maxload or loadindex
2. Standard load or XL/reinforced/extraload, or maybe even new introdused HL
3.speedcode, less important.
Exact sizes would be nice too.

Then you " ONLY" have to determine the axleloads in your use 99% acurate, and search them back in the list for the needed cold pressure.
The most tricky part, and your responcibility.

But searching back GAWR's ( or whatever its called in your country) could give that 36 psi is yust enaugh.
For electric cars, high advices are given for actiradius reasons. Sometimes even that high, that it gives centrewear.
And the lower 36 then would give no abnormal wear.

My experience is that shops typically inflate tires to 36 psi no matter what, and they are not that careful to hit it precisely. That's what I see when I look at your pressures. I always check tire pressure the next morning after a shop has modified the pressure and the tires have had a chance to cool down completely. It's never correct. And, don't rely on the pressures reported on your dashboard, use a tire pressure gauge.

If you don't have an air compresser at home, buy yourself a tire inflater - there are many to choose from. Also, buy yourself a tire depth gauge - they only cost a few dollars. Inflate your tires to the recommended pressures in your manual (not on the door jam) and put some miles on. Monitor the tread depth over time. If the center of the tread is wearing faster than the outside edges, you are over inflated. If the outside edges are wearing faster than the center of the tread, you are under inflated. You want even wear across the entire tread, and that only happens when the pressures are correct for your car and tires. That is the only way to maximize both traction and tread life. If you want to maximize mileage/range, you can over inflate your tires, but you will sacrifice both traction and tire life. If you want to maximize ride quality, you can under inflate your tires, but you will sacrifice both traction and tire life.

Also, if only one inside or outside edge is wearing faster than either the center or opposite edge, you have an alignment issue.

And, you must inflate your tires before you drive anywhere, such as the first thing in the morning in your garage. Otherwise, you don't get an accurate reading because the tires will heat up too much just be driving to a gas station with an air pump.

My manual states: Normal Load: 21" Front=41; Rear=41. Max load: Front=42; Rear=45.
