Audi announces model year 2023 updates
Ok, but if new is your desire, there really seems to be no etron's out there. I looked at the inventory of some local mid Atlantic dealers and they have inventory coming but they are all already sold for the most part or have waiting lists with buyers. There is a premium in Siver Spring which is apparently looking for a buyer if you are interested. Obviously you would cast a nationwide net. So your real option appears to be Ioniq 5's if you have only two weeks to get a car. Again, I am in the mid Atlantic and there are 42 available within 50 miles. I did not call, but I would assume that half of those are actually pre sold and another quarter have weird MSRP's. Anyway, it is an option.
I know nothing about the Polestar accept for seeing them at EA chargers and two on the road. Strangely the two I saw charging had less than enthusiastic owners. Most EV owners rave about their cars no matter the brand. These two independently did not like their cars. Only one went into reasoning (It was too small and not roomy. He was a bigger guy. He also claimed that the Google interface was not very functional yet...)
Anyway, good luck. I think that if I was in your boat I'd start looking first at the used etron market and then the Ioniq 5. Either way, only plan on owning the car until '24 when the Q6 etron is released.
Oh there are a handful of Mach E's out there but the Ford websites make it hard to determine if they are actually available to purchase.

You certainly hear and feel more while driving compared to the e-tron, but the vehicle is well made and the finish is outstanding, very on par with a Volvo. I would agree that the interior isn't best for bigger people. I'm 6'2" and it suits me fine, but I am on the thinner side and not very wide.
Imagine sitting down, not pressing a button and the system turning on and knowing where you want to go based on your calendar or Google history. It's not always right, but 95% of the time, maps has my destination ready for navigation. The vehicle is totally self contained, and without Bluetooth or Android auto or any phone connection, the P2 is an extension of your Google account and the device in your pocket. It's brilliant.
The same goes for music, media and vehicle settings. All tied to your Google account. Apple people won't appreciate the level of integration Polestar offers.
I appreciate the used car market, but tend to swap out every three years on 'this' car. It's my daily driver for work and kid errands, the 'family' mobile is usually purchased, that way I can buy a new gee whiz car every few years. I tend to lease them. Getting up their in years and eventually I'll stop doing it, but it's let me experience a lot of different cars I wouldn't have been able to if I buy them, and I like playing with cars.
COVID broke my streak, was ready to swap out a 2017 Bolt in 2021 and go back to Audi, but when I wasn't working anywhere but home I thought I'd hold out, then the inventory problem came.
We'll see if I regret it
Pick the PS2 up over in Charlotte next week. Who knows, maybe I can just trade it for what I paid for it the way the market is going worst case, but I don't think I will. I really was looking forward to the Audi family again.
