Clipper Creek L2 charger clicking on and off
When I have my e-tron set to charge to anything lower than 100% and it reaches that level, the L2 clipper creek charger at my office seems to be clicking on and off every few seconds- theres a loud relay click like charging is starting, then a second later it clicks off, the cycle repeats every couple of seconds. I don't get any charging notifications or errors on the car when it's happening, but figure it probably cant be good for the car (or the charger) for it to be doing that for hours on end. I don't hear this happening with any other electric vehicles in the garage but none are e-trons. Has anyone experienced this?

If you have a 2021 which has the problem with 5 minute charge cycling for any setting under 100%, try setting the car so that the setting for lock/unlock upon completion of AC charging is set to ‘unlock’. This has solved the problem for many of us and is an easy fix.

Yep. This sounds like the identified charging issue. During my last call with Audi they said we were still a few months out from a fix, and recommend simply setting the SoC target to 100% in the meantime. Alternatively the unlock option works, but obviously this is only workable if you are parked somewhere where you don't have to worry about someone taking it and using your power (e.g., at home).

Workaround enhancement
Note, that after the charging has ended you can remove and insert the cable again and this time the bug does not trigger.
This way you can pre-heat the car using power from the cable too.

I am not sure this is necessarily related to that known bug of the 2021 models. I see the same on the ClipperCreek at work with my 2019. I usually set the charge level to something higher and then unplug before that to avoid the issue. I have not found any other work around yet.

The problem is in the car and occurs with any charger.
