On to round 2. They found another one out of state, shipped it in and we picked it up last night. Got the same deal plus another $500.00 off, not sure why. This one is Daytona Grey Pearl Effect with a black interior. It also has the trailer package. Electrician Scheduled for Monday to wire 50 amp to the garage. The fun begins!

Congratulations! What trim did you get? If you need to charge off your 120V house supply until the L2 charger is installed, make sure the charger box is set to 100% (a long hold on the Power button will toggle for the box to supply either 100% or 50% of the house supply.) At 50% the supply on a 120V circuit is too low to trigger the car to start to charge, and it will think it is on a timer.

Also got the Prestige on this one with the black optic package and eTron beams. I had heard about the 50/100% setting and it did default to 50. Setting it to 100% was easy enough. Now just trying not to drive it more than I can charge it which isn't easy because it's so much fun. No ev charging stations in my general area.

On my second day of charging at my standard house outlet the 50/100 setting remained on 100%. Car went from a range of 130 to a range of 162 in 13.5 hours of charging. Can't wait for my 50 amp outlet on Monday.

Well, scratch this deal. It went from signed, sealed to not delivered. Took over 3 days and then the dealer sent us a note saying it had already been sold. Odd because it's a week later and it's still listed for sale on the dealers website from out of state. This I know because we had the vin. Not sure if we'll wait for the 2022's or what. Not getting the warm and fuzzy from this dealer. That's sad because we bought a 2018 A5 and a 2019 A6 from them.
