Electrify America Charging with MyAudi App: Brilliant!
Just returned from trying out DC fast charging at the Electrify America installation in Pleasanton, CA (convenient 3 miles away). Wanted to make sure everything was working OK and avoid operator error before heading out on a long trip.
Seamless, absolutely wonderful first experience! Pulled into a random 150kW charger, plugged in, entered the charger number in the MyAudi app, and it all just worked! Just a quick :11 charge from 49% to 81%. Charging started at 141kW, topped out at 153kW, was still 150kW at 79%, then tapered to 123 at 81% where I stopped charging.
To be totally nitpicky, would be nice to snap a QR code rather than enter charger ID and the cord could be a couple feet longer.

Very good to hear, thank you. I've been watching the EA sites pop up on plugshare and they are making very impressive progress.
Only thing better than a QR code would be doing nothing at all with ISO 15118 support, which should be coming.

Sounds very encouraging. If you do a long trip it would be great if you could share experiences using the trip planner, charging, convenience, etc. Have a great weekend!

But the e-tron doesn't charge at a megawatt, the EA locations are not everywhere, and understanding the range test results are the only thing that's going to allow me to span some large distances between EA locations!
