Fault Code
Looking for the wisdom of the hive mind here. 2023 e-tron SUV Chronos
A couple of weeks ago I drove from DC to Raleigh and was not able to charge at the Rocky Mount, NC (Sheets EA) charger and the Wilson, NC (Chick-fil-A ChargePoint) charger. I got charging system errors in the instrument cluster and white lights on the charge port. I limped into the family farm with 15 miles left and was able to L2 charge overnight.
I dropped the car at the Audi dealer as I was headed out of town. Dealer has replied, but it does not make sense to me:
"We plugged the vehicle in here and it charged on our charger. We scanned the vehicle and found fault U15AF which references a TSB. The TSB states that some of the DC fast chargers that say they are compatible are not compatible as not all DC stations have received the software update that is needed.”
Seems suspicious as that would rule out road-trips period. Not knowing if a charger would work is a non-starter.
I can't find anything on this fault code, but did scan with OBD 11 before dropping the car at the dealer. Output file attached for those with far more knowledge than me.
Thanks in advance for any insights.
Regards,
Richard

It was quite an interesting watch but one of the issues they found was the handshake process failed with I believe just one make/model of cars. It took some collaboration between both the charger company and manufacturer to figure it out but a software update did indeed fix it. I can't remember if this wsa charger or car side ...
Again vague as I don't remember a lot of it but it was around the fact the car needed a minimum or maximum jolt from the charger to tell it that the car was plugged in but the charger was not giving enough.
