How to sort a thread's posts in ascending date order?
A couple of years ago any thread I opened had the posts sorted ascending from oldest to newest. That was the logical way to follow a thread, see the question and then the progression of answers. Not any more... Now it's in descension, newest to oldest. You have to go to the end and click upward to get the logical sequence. I can't find any way to revert to #1 post first. The forum's FAQ says you can sort the THREADS any way you want. But nothing about the sorting of the posting dates. Clicking on every arrow on a page has no effect on the post order. Any solution to this?

I went through those links and found the answer. To make it easier for anyone else with the same question, instead of a link the actual keystrokes are:
User CP > Settings & Options > Edit Options > Thread Display Mode > Linear Oldest First > Save.
