If you go to this page and scroll down to the Audi Maintenance Schedule section, you can get one for your specific model and mileage. (It has a button saying Owners Manuals but it's actually maintenance schedule)

Anyway, my recall service is scheduled next week along with my 80K service. Speaking of which, anybody know what an 80K service should cost?
I never thought to put it in neutral and back into reverse. I always hit the camera icon, then one of the rear cameras.

80K service should be the same as the other services every 20K miles. I only pay for the coolant and rear cartridge replacement along with brake fluid replacement. The cabin air filter is DIY for me.

The upgrade on my car took about 5 hours and I made the mistake of waiting for it. At least I didn't have to put gas into their loaner and drank a bunch of their coffee :-)

LOL, I think I'm the opposite. I NEVER use the camera icon and always activate it by temporarily shifting into reverse.

Anyone have issues with their cruise control not being available? I’ve read some anecdotal reports that this update resolved that issue as an added benefit. Would almost be worth bringing my vehicle in for that if it is helpful (I got the recall but rarely have issues with my rear camera, won’t bother with this until my next service visit otherwise).

I've been having a bunch of issues with all the radar-related stuff dropping increasingly often and for longer and longer periods of time - https://www.audiworld.com/forums/aud...dings-3089627/

My 2024 Q8 is in now for that issue and also multiple software updates including the camera, by MMI for the lost shortcuts and the virtual cockpit for the wrong car image. Last one was causing them issues so there's a ticket in to Germany. On radar they say they can't do anything without an active fault. It would be great if the camera update improves the radar issues, seems unlikely though - where did you see the info?

The biggest thing that helped my cruise control and the ADAS reliability was finally convincing service to recalibrate the system which is apparently a lengthy process which requires a qualified technician.

They kept clearing the codes and then the ADAS would work, six hours or six months. But it would fail randomly and then be off randomly waiting for it to reset itself. It needed X number of duty cycles with all of the thousand parameters met for ADAS, or the codes cleared.

Finally, Audi Germany authorized the laser to be replaced at huge expense, but the first part of that is recalibrating the old system. They did that and it has worked ever since. Sure it goes out occasionally, but always resets itself within minutes now. They did not have to replace the super expensive radar by the way.

Here's a question, wife's camera glitched out last year and she hit something which cracked the rear light bar. Can't get much information out of her but it must have been some overhang or something because the bumper is untouched. Anyway $600 later and it's fixed. Is this something I could toss on the reimbursement form and mail in? 😆

Just did this update on our 2024 Q8 e-tron... looks like they zapped my coding changes including my matrix adaptive headlights during the update! LOL

Thankfully the recoding is free, but still a hassle to do.

Yeah I heard that's a thing. Booked in my re-coding for next month assuming I'll need it if I ever get my car back.
