Euro Delivery on July 12th
We are picking up our 2013 A-6 3.0 P+ on July 12th. Oolong Gray with Nougut Brown interior and fine grain ash. 20 inch SP will be great for the autobahn!
This is our 2nd Euro Delivery. Prior experience was with Saab as we picked up a 9-3 convertible in June of 06 in Trollhatten Sweden. That was a good experience but we only drove the car for 3 days and kept it in Sweden as our base for that vacation had been London. This trip we are hitting Switzerland, Germany and France (Disney and the Tour de France). Then back to Zurich for a few day and drop off Should be amazing!
Flying in to Zurich on the 11th as we have 4 traveling (wife, daughter 16 and son 12) and was less expensive to fly in and out of Zurich. Train to Munich and then we begin. Staying the night at Kempinski Munich Airport and then picking up the car the morning of the 12th. 2 weeks from today!
The process has been very smooth thus far. Ordered the car in March through Audi of North Orlando and they have been great.
Hoping everything goes as smooth when we arrive in Europe! Will update post with pics once we arrive.

Delivery Day in Ingolstadt
Terrific day at the Audi Forum. They picked us up at the Munich airport at 9:00 am and off to Ingolstadt. After a 40 minute ride we arrived and the delivery team was waiting for us. We looked down and saw our car. Signed a few forms and then downstairs to see our new A6. They spend about 40 minutes walking through all of the features which is nice but not sure how much I retained. Next we went to the restaurant(which is absolutely fantastic) and then off to the factory tour. Today the focus was the new A3 which was fascinating. Learned that they complete in excess of 2700 new cars per day in Ingolstadt. Off next for a quick visit to the museam and then we left to get on the Autobahn. Have to keep the car under 3000 rpm for the first 600 miles (1000 km) but still able to reach 100mph. Tomorrow off to Neuschwanstein Castle.
