European customs regulations change
According to Bimmerfest ED Forum and Sweedespeed Overseas Delivery Forum new changes in European customs regulations regarding time ED cars can stay in Europe and now both license plate required to stay after drop off.
BMW removed London and Madrid from their drop off list of cities. Audi - not. Volvo altered their fee for all not Sweden drop off.

TIME, I apologize that this took so long, but we wanted to get information from the European Delivery experts in both Germany and the U.S. Here is their response:
Customs is requiring that both German-issued plates must stay on the vehicle during shipping from Europe to the US. When the car is registered and plated here in the US, their Audi dealer can give the plates back as a souvenir.
That sounds quite pleasant, I think: no work for the owner, and a nice souvenir after the trip!
