Nope. Driving around with a prestige with full nav package. Doesn't work for Europe. Using a provided Garmin, works just fine.

Truthfully, I don't know. I have Verizon's international travel data all signed up for my phone (android), but I haven't used it (or been charged). Only use it when wifi is available. Same with wife's iPhone. Sorry couldn't help here. I'd email Brad.

I have an iPhone 6S and CarPlay does work, so Android should also work. Also used the Garmin they supplied. I have T-Mobile so I get free text(3G) and data. Even at 3G speeds, the map works pretty well. When I dropped my car off in Frankfurt, they only want the Garmin with the cables and bag back. You get to keep the safety triangles, the first aid kit and safety vests.

I packed the safety triangle, the first aid kit, and safety vest with me. Didn't want them to grow legs while in transit.

so it took 4 months, with many more of research

...great! I did the ED w/ a Triumph, my friend w/ a BMW-
seven weeks/15 countries

I would go for 3 or four weeks to get the most of the experience

who is Brad (last name)? what dealer is he at?

maybe a S5 in my future!

Brad Boyer is the European Delivery Coordinator at Audi of America. He is the one who actually coordinates the whole e-perience between you, your dealer, and the Audi factory.

See another thread a few down the forum titled "European Delivery experience" for more discussion on Brad and contact info.

Picking up my S5 June 26 and keeping it in Europe the full 90 days till the end of September! Not sure I'll make 15 countries.

Default Bradley Boyer

I agree Bradley Boyer thoroughly accommodated our requests for our European delivery on an R8 V10 plus exclusive. Picking it up this Friday for six weeks, dropping it in London for return shipping. No dicount on R8 or RS models, in fact you used to have to pay an additional fee to do a euro delivery on all R8's. They were even willing to run the engine for the first 1000 km's so at the point of delivery it is ready to drive as intended. Whole program is well worth doing.
