Audi's baby R8 ready to roll

Sports car fans are in for a real treat! Audi is planning a striking new mid-engined machine - the R4. The newcomer will be based on an entirely new platform and sit above the TT in Audi's range, offering buyers a driver-focused two-seater with a starting price of around £35,000.

http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoexpressnews/231048/audis_baby_r8_ready_to_roll.html</a

I guess the R4 concept has its purpose
but considering the R8 evolved from the Le Mans and the Le Mans concept was derived from the TT plus the fact that the new R4 looks quite similar to the TT it almost seams sacrilegious "not" to make the mid-engine baby R8 out of anything but the TT! In my opinion it would finally make since for that spot Audi calls a back seat in the TT. Honestly I think once the TT evolved baby R8 or a Gen3 mid-engine which also introduced a mid-engine Diesel variant, the evolution of the TT would have come full circle. Finally, Audi would be able to offer & "deliver" what the TT enthusiasts have been seeking & craving out of their TT's since 1998. True Perfomance!!!
