how much oil consumption on your S-car?miles?what oil?
my first AAN motor (over 125K miles on clock) with few visibly leaks consumed 1 quarts on 6000 miles.

my 2nd AAN motor (I think it should not be over 62k miles on clock) with one visibly leak
look a bit greasy on the back of the block I assumed it's from the crankshaft seal(havn't had checked it yet)and bad turbo inlet & outlet
gaskets .sometimes my K24 burns some little smoke but certainly,not that much.(STFA someone said it's normal for KKK to consume some oil) consumed 1.5-2 quarts on 3,125 miles.
I'm using M1 5W-50 is that too thin on 35C-40C degree in Thailand?
is my oil consumption still in Range(owner's manual stated that 1L:1000km should be normal personally,i thinkl that's too much and the car should smoke out now)?

Sounds about right.
I change mine a lot more often, but that does sound about right.
I run straight 50W NEO or Redline. For other reasons I change it about every 500 mi. In the stroker I do it around every 250 mi.

My car has 155k miles and burns/leaks 2 quarts every 5k miles
I put one quart in between oil changes at about 2500 miles and by the time I change it at 5k miles it is a bit low again and would need another quart if I wasn't changing the oil.

At 140k mine consumes less than 1/2 qt over 5000 miles.
That was with 5W40 and 15W50. Have 0W40 in there now, not sure how the consumption is with it, since my oil pressure switch blew out about halfway through the change interval.
