Default A6 2009 3.0T P0018

Hi everyone!

I just joined and wanted to get your ideas. So I bought this as a project since I got it at a decent price.
It has just had full timing kit done by previous owner but the code didn't disappear so he just wanted to get rid of it.
Otherwise the car is in pretty good condition, and it drives pretty ok, sometimes a little hesitation at 3-4k rpm. At idle it's not the smoothest and will vibrate and sometimes rpm's will go up and down.

I understand that timing on bank 2 could be 1 teeth off or camshaft adjustor part might not be working ( they have for some reason only changed 1 of these, not sure which side yet ). Any other ideas ? And since the code is from bank 2, it probably doesn't have anything to do with bank 1 timing ?
I have swapped the camshaft sensors and solenoids from side to side and no difference in codes.

I have ordered timing tool set and it just arrived, so i will be getting the covers off by coming days and see if timing is ok and if they changed bank 2 adjustor ( cam sprock, not the solenoid ). EDIT. Yes it has been changed since it is not audi original. Will be replacing with used original and new bolt, also correcting it to the correct position since it looks to be a little off.
VCDS auto scan after resetting codes.

Locked cams on place on both banks with the tool so they line up fine, meaning timing is ok ?
Anyone ?

No, locking the camshafts with the tool is a static indication, which doesn't indicate the chain tensioner extension.

Sure, here is pics from cams. Opened timing cover today, will post pics from inside later too.
Here are some videos inside the cover, not sure if they are any help but will post better ones tomorrow.

Ok thanks, good to know I can't rely on just that then. Will check how to know that timing is correct properly.

Chain feels tight and tensioner seems to be doing it's job. Gear timing mark looks to be right. Bank 2 adjustor looks like it has been changed since it doesn't look original. Maybe it's faulty, any way to check that ?
Any suggestions what to check next ? Thanks!

If the crankshaft pin position was on it's designed place while camshafts were locked, then I think you have other issues here.
Must say that I'm confused, since I was under impression that variators goes up to 52 KW max of crankshaft angle (retardation-advancement), yet you have 67.9KW???
Check your CPSs.
