Default I needed something like a TDS-1 for the Miata...

Since there is no autocheck display to commandeer, it was a bit more work:

Default Wrong forum.

That is awesome. If I had something like that I would have found my overheating issues much faster. The stock gauges on the Miata are useless.

The stock gauges are useless except for providing holes for replacements

Default Not planning on selling any... not with the total BOM at around 25% the price of the car!

It talks to the megasquirt II over CANbus. Not applicable to "normal" Miatas...

Default I am planning on doing a turbo eventually...

I was originally planning on doing it this winter but I think I will wait a bit. I will definitely swap in the 1.8 liter engine this winter though. Recently bought a roll bar (a Hard Dog "HCHTDD") that I need to install. Still need to sort out the suspension and get some tires.

Default nice, i have the same bar.

installing it is straightforward, but cutting the package shelf is a PITA. when you reinstall the seatbelt reels, put some felt tape on the top part closest to the roll bar. mine rattle against the bar and it's massively annoying.
