So my blue smoke-burning oil problem is 95% surely the turbo...
Is it the drop in pressure at idle that causes the seal to leak slightly, if so, why would it be so random?
Color me not convinced....keep us posted.
it's stated that this setup with 2b ecu is at 380hp at the crank?
it runs very nice... well, it will when i get it back tomorrow.
had a coilpack go and now found out that the turbo rebuild was shoddy.. which was why my smoke issues did not go away.
maybe i stated this to you prior? sorry, if that's the case.
good luck with yours.

The highest vacuum on the turbo is at del and idle, under these conditions the oil has the highest chance to get sucked into the compressor side of the turbo and then get burned in combustion. Once the compressor generates pressure the leakage would be in the oposite direction but since the turbo operates at 2-5 bar oil pressure the 1-18psig compressor pressure doesn't enter the oil.
FYI in radial compressor world the "pressure" behind the compressor is estimated to be 60% the exit pressure of the diffuser (what you read on the gage).
