Default 1993 S4

I am considering getting 93 S4 with 117000 miles. I was wondering how practical this move was, how much work i would need to do in the long run, and how much longer this car will last? Thanks for the help. Steve

Default That all depends on how it was treated in the past. My grandmother's would go 400,000 miles.

These are some of the most durable cars ever built, but no car can withstand abuse and neglect.

Default I bought my Coupe from a 75 year old woman...

...her left knee was bothering her and it was getting hard to use the clutch, so she sold the Coupe and bought a new S4 tiptronic.

No, but if she drove one the way she drives her 79 Caddy, it would last 100 years.
