Default 1993 urs4 infrared locking not working

Ok, so i tried 2 different locking pumps from urs4, i tried 4 different infrared receiver sensor on the b pillars and 2 different keys with all new batteries (Energizer 386/301).

My problem is that the infrared locking still does not work. Everything else work with mechanical locking. The horn sounds and light delay works too.

I have tried to "reactivate" the locking system and program my two keys with the two different pump and the 4 different infrared sensor and when reprogramming the horn never sound. I assume the keys work because a see red light going out of the sender when pressing the button.
Help?!?

Anyone heard of keys not programmable with some cars?

I've had an S4 and an S6 that came with working remotes, that were mostly identical. I've not heard of keys not programmable with some cars, if they are IR keys and cars. Seems the manual had the sequence to reprogram the key, with the ignition turned and the door open or something.

So I'm guessing you know more than i do from messing with all this. Are you saying nothing happens when you press the remote when directly in front of the sensor on the B-pillar, yet everything works properly using the key. You don't hear anything, no pump, no horn, no movement...

Someone else will know more. I don't even know about a light delay.

Default Yep nothing happen when pointing the key to sensor on b-pillar

Everything else is working like it should with mechanical locks. Alarm sets and horn honk.

I have tried many times to reprogram keys and reactivate the lock system as mentionned in manual, but the when programming, not horn nothing no movement.

Also, one of my friend ever pick up a spare key and was never able to reprogram it on his car but its other key worked.

Just repeating myself but i tried 2 different pump, 4 different ir receiver sensor and 2 keys with brand new batteries in it and they make light from the ir diode when looking at it in the dark.

Here are some links that will perhaps shed some light. Im going to stick them in the middle of this so they dont stand out too much. The first one is basic programing quattroworld.com Forums: RF Remote Programming FAQ of the key, and this 1 quattroworld.com Forums: Rundown of the 3 different C4 Alarm/Central Locking Systems (Pumps, Keys, and Remotes) has more info. Here's 1 more quattroworld.com Forums: RF Remote Programming FAQ and you might be able to follow the faq and find more info towards the bottom of the list.

Default Some IR Central Locking System Info

You can check for the IR key working by using a digital camera and pointing the key at the lense and clicking the button. You should see something in the camera view finder.

The left and right IR receivers are connected to the central locking pump in the T16 connector at Pins T16/2 and T16/15 and Pins T16/10 and T16/16.
