because I'm cheap.
The costly part is the standalone engine managment that you will need, however this also gives you the benefit of nearly unlimited tuning potential.
BTDT on the 'homebrew' 20vt with a 4kq20vt I built (although I used an NG bottom end w/7A head). Click the pic to see the project page on motorgeek.com.
