95 S6 trouble code 2111- engine speed sensor G28

Have you had any "glitches", sudden/violent deceleration under boost & load
I'm see this fault code even though nothing is wrong with the sensor.
Did you wind up the wastegate spring, or use the high tension 1.9 bar spring ?

Clear the code, drive it, see if it recurrs. If you want a replacement sensor I have two
I got the codes, replaced the sensors and it made no difference i.e. it seems you can get this code from the ECU and may have nothing to do with the sensor at all.

Well here's the deal - I cannot figure out which is the right one ...
ETKA says :

However when I looked at connector for G28 (the speed sensor) on the harness it was Grey.
When I pulled the old sensors out of my car they were <B>both</B> black 078905381's.
So I'm totally confused . . .
So I bought the part #'s by ETKA and connected them up the way the harness colors indicated.
IMO : These are hall effect devices which are semiconductors with no moving parts and basically should never die, or fail, unless subjected to some physical trauma or Electrostatic Discharge.
I think the thing to do is check the part # of the G28 sensor you have and just order that one.
Or I have two perfectly working 078905381's which I will be happy to let you try for the cost of shipping, if it doesn't work send it back - if it does work send me what you want to pay.
