Is the ac compressor the same as the v8 compressor? Mine is making a horrid noise and
I have a v8 unit availible. I checked the archives and nothing came up.

...I think your 94 ..sbitch is 134A..& the 90 v8 is R12. Not sure the comps are compatable.

Der 5spd has a bad clutch on my AC comp & makes a horrible rattling sound. Now I gotta change the pully/clutch assembley..wish it decided to **** the bed when I replaced the PS pump..but I still love der Audi :-)
If that AC comp doesn't work we may need to make a deal.

but the v8 is running 134a now (converted) and my ac comp is making real bad noises.. might be the clutch too. I might have another on der black v8 I'm picking up from ingo hopefully this weekend if the mud isnt too bad to get the trailer out. don't matter what one I use, I'm not in a rush as I don't even know if the ac works yet.

Same here. Mine sounds like a stuck valve. Works though. Need to replace this summer. Keep me posted
