Should be in the search

EDIT: I only say that because I know it;s been done, I just don't have first hand experience.

I searched before posting, found nothing relating to Brake Pad Resistor, brake resistor, etc.

What you want to do is provide continuity between the two terminals where the old pad connected to. Take the old pad and cut off the leads long enough to splice together and reconnect to the vehicle. Secure out of harms way and no more (O). If you don't have the old pads you can make a wire jumper, just make sure you have a tight connection. Seal it so you don't get contamination in it, secure and Bobs your uncle.

Thanks. I will try it over my time off this week and take pics and make a write-up for the FAQ in case it works that beautifully.

it really is that easy, cut off the old lead, twist the wires together and tape, plug it back on and zip tie it out of the way. takes about 3 mins per side.

Yep that is the way I did mine on all four wheels. I rotate my tires and check my brakes every time often enough that I do ot need an idiot light telling me when the pads are worn.
