Default Anyone have experience pairing '92 springs with adjustable Koni Yellows?

I'm wondering what the results were and if it required slotted camber plates to get it aligned.

I'm doing suspension work on my 95.5 and am trying to determine how much of a drop that would give me.

Finally, can I use springs from a '92 on my Avant? will I need spacers?

Default That's what I'm running on my 95.5 sedan- no issues with camber, but YMMV.

The 92 springs don't drop it very much, so they typically don't cause alignment issues.

Default Your car is broken.

Heh.

I have '92s in mine. No camber plates were required. I do not have Koni Yellows. I have Audi Platinums (silvery colored, priced more than their weight in gold, lol).

The folks that saw it before and after said it dropped it an inch from the stock height. I didn't measure (stupid me.) But you can see from the sig photo about what they look like - the car is on a street with a fairly large crown, so it's actually a little better than how it looks in the photo.

Mine's a '95.

Default Do you have tailight sealer?

I got the S6+ light section in and thought maybe tonight I could come over and install that and possibly test fit the HRE's to see the clearance on your BBK...LMK I emailed you the other day BTW.

Default Nope.

Don't often seal tailights. Sorry.

Not gonna be home tonight. Got work.

Sorry, 2x.

Saturday, come over. If you're fast and good, you'll get more work. If you're slow and sloppy, she's gonna do it all herself.

I'll give you the head's up as to when tomorrow.

Default That's is how my car was when I bought it.

With the Koni's set at FULL firm, it was a nice, stiff ride, with no bounce. But when hitting bumps, it didn't feel like the luxo-cruiser stock suspension does. Not a huge jump in stiffness or harshness when I went to my H&R Sport springs, just a tad lower rider height.

Spacers are only needed when using Eibach springs.

This was my car with '92 springs + Koni Yellows.

Default Email me.

As to what time saturday and about tomorrow. I am going to have to figure something to seal these lights, that is relatively cheap/inexpensive...
