Anyone have their iPod working directly with their stock stereo?
I want to go back to stock radio after hearing it in all it's glory in my friends S4. I also want to get an iPod instead of a CD changer. i really would rather not use an RF unit to play it off a station. is their anyway to make it work directly with the stock deck?

My new answer to all stereo questions: See Bentley wiring diagrams
The wiring diagrams indicate which wires to splice.
I have mine set up with an MP3 player in the glovebox and the CD changer still in the trunk. When the MP3 head unit is on (when its amp remote is high) a DPDT relay switches the MP3 output to the input on the bose head unit. When the MP3 head unit is off the relay turns off and lets the CD changer signal through.
If you don't plan to have a CD changer, you'll need to figure out some way to convince the Bose head unit that there is a CD changer present. Otherwise it probably won't switch to CD input.
