Agreed, wasn't a race for me........
I was behing the Z06 (405hp version) at a light. Next to him was an early 90's Talon. The Talon looked completely stock except for some wider tires. The road after the intersection merges into 1 lane.
Light turns green.....the Vette nails it and the Talon simply jumps ahead by almost 2 car lengths and never stops. Freakin sick. The Vette never knew what hit him and he was trying, the rubber on the road says so.
I just enjoyed and hung behind the Vette.
That is all.

And you can beat the crap out of them....
Except for the fool racing the M3 on that video who blew up his Eclipse, you can pretty much thrash Talons and Eclipses with little worry. They make great rallycross cars.

Are you on glue! they **** center diffs and second gears if you beat them
this is coming from someone who's friends have 10 11 and 12 second dsm's
you have to replace the center diff with the 4 gear or else it blows and the tranny is a really weak link

There's not many 10/11second cars that can run on a stock drivetrain.
But the one's I've seen do seem to be able to take a beating. Maybe their not quite as done up as the ones you've seen. And yes, I like glue.
