Default Buying Bilsteins....

...going to buy some Bilsteins for my 1995 S6. Which specific ones should I be looking for? Where's the best place to order them from?

For a lowered car Bilstein recomends there "Sport" shocks, although for the rear they say that sport or heavy duty can be used on the S6's that have been lowered. The link is too Bilstein's application guide.
Front PN#: P36-0369
Rear PN#: B46-2066

http://www.bilstein.com/302passengercars.pdf</a

Default if you can wing it, go with the Konis and adjust the firmness..

or it will be a rough ride. I used to have the H&R sport - supposedly not as stiff as the Race and with bilstein sport and it was rough, hence the switch to Eibach... Or maybe i'm just too old.

Default Good lord what are you doing to your car! I've punished Bilsteins quite a bit and never had issues.

I guess everyone will have their own luck.

Default Heh, different cars.

No I'm not wearing the Bilstien's out. I just don't like them. Way to much bump and not near enough rebound. Very uncomfortable with little/no performance gain compared to the Konis.
