Default A/C fan is a chirpin ....long

Going on a trip tomorrow from Atlanta to Washington DC. Partial business and partial pleasure. Will be stopping in Wilmington, NC on our way back. 1400 mile round trip.
Well, just lately my fan on my a/c is making this squeeling noise mostly at higher speeds, but intermitent nonetheless. When I let off clutch and gas it, the squeel sometimes comes again. Coincidence maybe?
Could be a long trip with this noise. Anybody else have this issue? Fix?
TIA

Default For the trip, try varying the fan speed.

Manually override the fan speed; set it up or down to find a spot where the noise isn't as bad.

The permanent fix is to change the motor.

Default Bearing on the fritz?

I just recently had water from ac filling my floorboards. About 2 weeks ago, I took my compressor and blew air into the ac drain line to remove any obstruction. Any chance that this messed up something?

Default Doubtful. The fan is at the absolute top of the box.

Was the drain clogged? That's fairly rare - more likely that the center drain in the water tray in the cowl is plugged.

Default I changed my fan last week due to the "chirp"

search HVAC, there are a few good write-ups on replacement.

Default I was getting water sprayed through the vents...

As well as water on the floor boards. I cleaned the drains out under the cowl and yet this problem still existed. I will find out on my trip if I still have the water issue. Hopefully not!

Center drain too? That's usually the one people miss.

through the engine bay, you lift the box enough to remove the fan
