Default The cheapest 115Rs are $40 per?!?

I'm looking to replace my no-number 1.8T coils with some 115Rs, and a search reveals folks are paying $40 each. Is that really the cheapest?

I was hoping to not have to spend $200 for a set...

Default I found them at $31 per coil for the 'R's...

They may be found cheaper, but I don't know where.<ul><li><a href="http://www.autohausaz.com/search/product.aspx?sid=h1gxhxa5xvabuyyfomd0trbc&amp;part number=06B%20905%20115R">06B905115R 1.8t coils</a></li></ul>

Nice, too bad there isn't a reasonable parts store in Colo. Springs.

Default Yabut, are you 1000% sure they will send you 115R's and not J's? or L's?

J's are bad. L's are okay but subject to heat failure (but not as bad as J's). 115R's seem to handle the heat better.

Default Sorry to stray a little off topic...

I thought the VW guys prefer the Hitachi coils, was it ever discussed why the conversion doesn't use them?
