ECS, much less of a PITA. Just buy and bolt on. Also consider Stoptech.

Default The ECS brackets have (or had) a cracking problem.

Both of mine cracked after about a year. ECS replaced them promptly, but have not explained to me what the problem was and whether it has been fixed. I am not the only person whose ECS brackets have cracked.

I am pretty sure I will be switching to RS2 brackets and 323 mm rotors in the spring, to get the bracket issue resolved for good.

Default Neither.

Big Reds, RS2 brackets, 323X30 A8L D2 rotors.

Simple, effective, proven - In fact, pretty much the Audi solution.

I don't like the use of aluminum in the bracket application, for various reasons. While I do believe it is possible to design an aluminum bracket to be robust, I trust Audi's steel bracket to actually be robust.

I'd be happy to discuss it more at length, but only off-list.

BTW, I have a parts list if you want to go the RS2 bracket way.

Default Looks like DIY also saves money...
