If I stickie the faq it takes up an unacceptible amount of the top of our forums for those viewing in Threaded Mode.

Tried it once.

wait a sec.... doesn't Vb have the ability to create a link and not an entire thread? You could do that, and make the link sticky... right?

I don't. But the Admins may.

This would be something you could ask Kris Hansen or JET about. Either in a PM or in the FeedBack forum.

Make a new thread with a link to the FAQ, lock and sticky. This way it's always @ the top and basically just contains a link to the FAQ that no one can reply to.

And any time I, or someone else, add to the FAQ, it will be bumped to the top of the forum. It was better hidden in KAWF with the hyperlink from the banner. Now it is going to be more chaos because people are going to start commenting about the FAQ IN THE FAQ and the content will be diluted.

So then why not you make the FAQ locked and PM a mod for info to update the FAQ when needed. Granted it would then take the mod to edit the info, we would have less ownership.

But at that point one might as well clean it up and establish headers to make it easier to find info,
Engine
Drivetrain
Body,
Interior, etc.

Yeah. This is what many other sites do.
