Default FS - Silicone Michelin man hose and Stock IC - no leaks.

Any one need these? Make offer - as good as new.

$100+ for MM and $150+ for IC elsewhere.

Default Any before/after driving impressions of the Apikol FMIC?

I wrote the title of this message in a way to make it easier to find in the future...

Default I converted from a Tom and Marc FMIC (later the early 034) FMIC to Apikol(the current 034 FMIC)

I thought the quality of the Apikol product was very good when I saw Eric Phillip's FMIC in the fall of 2006.

Default Yes.

1.) Before, a couple of hard pulls would be the most I could get out of the stock IC during any time but pretty cold weather. Even then, the third pull would be a touch weaker than the first two.

This was with the stock s/w. After MRC Stage 2, I'd get one really good pull, one stock-like pull, and the rest would be uniformly poor.

2.) On really hot days with the OEM IC, I'd get light, transient pinging on moderate to hard accel. Now, I have to get hard on in 2nd gear to get any pinging, and even then, it's only now and then. Again, this is comparing MRC-chipped to MRC-chipped.

3.) The car got Samcos at the same time, so this might not be the FMIC, but overall improvement in the intake system - before the switch, the boost would come on about 2400 and be at full pressure by 2500-2600 RPM. This is with stock WG spring @ +4.5 turns. After the FMIC, the boost felt like it built faster, and it came on 100-150 RPM earlier.

4.) Most of all, I can do pull after pull after pull after pull, and the strength of boost doesn't seem to fall off at all. This I noticed while bedding in my BBK. Ten back-to-back 10-100-10 pulls (mmmm, pad smoke) and the tenth pull felt exactly like the first one. Which was important, since I did this on the public roads, and needed the bed-in session to take as little time as possible.
