How any of you adjusted your parking brake without removing the driveshaft is just beyond me.

Default How any of you adjusted your parking brake without removing the driveshaft is just beyond me.

You are all better men than I. I am about to give up and actually pay someone to work on my car. I cannot believe this.

Replacing needs the drive shaft out. Adjustment does not. Bentley??

Default The Bently Sez...

- Loosen adjusting nut for parking brake cable until both levers contact stop

Note:

Install 10 mm deepwell socket on adjusting nut, then install flexible extension on socket and ratchet.

--The same procedure was in the 80q Bently - I said "Yeah - Sure" - until I tried it. It works fine! (I put never seize on first & ran the nuts out over it - never be a problem again!)
