Default I'm an S car owner (again)

As some of you may know, I sold my sweet 1994 Black/Ecru S4 back in January to buy a Cashmere Gray S6. The S6 deal didn't happen, so I've S-less since. I almost bought a Pearl White 95.5 in Ohio but the seller, a dealer, backed out of the deal (more on that some other time - quite a story).

Today I drove from CT down to NJ to pick up a 1995.5 Green/Ecru S6 sedan with 73k on it. Bought it on ebay site unseen (scary/stupid, but I got a good vibe on the car). The car is nice. I'm not in love with the green, but I really like the ecru. This car has spent the majority of its life in Southern Cali. The car is unmolested, undamaged, with very few knicks or scratches. No accident damage, no door dings. There are a few minor surprises (no rear view mirror, needs tires, seat belt won't retract), and the car was not enthusiast-owned, but it is clean, quiet and solid.

It feels so nice to have a turbo under the hood again.

Default Green doesn't look to bad if you have an S6.

I love how Mark Hunter's UrS4 with S6 bumpers, molding looks lowered on its 17" Boleros.

I saw an tinted, emerald green metallic UrS6 the other day lowered on some neu S4/S6 Avus wheels. Very nice.

What is the build date? 5 spoke=early model run=Aug or Sept 94. 4 or 3 spoke steering wheel?

Default Yikes, you bought that car from California on ebay?

I saw that car, I remember seeing some evidence of accident repairs.

Maybe it's not the same car.

Default I hope not. Where did you see damage?

I've bought a lot of cars, and I've looked this one over pretty well without finding anything. I've even waxed it - that when I usually find everthing.

Default Built date is 6/95

It has the fuchs wheels on it though. I actually like the fuchs better. The avus wheels are way too widely distributed these days, and the fuchs are wider.
I have the three spoke wheel, cloth door panels, lighter on the console, no diff lock, RF remotes.

Default Re: Corrected Built date is 9/95

Funny, it looked like a 6 when I opened the door and leaned out to look at it :-p
