and sing.......
Chorus:
"Reunited and it feels so good
Reunited 'cause we understood
There's one perfect fit
And, sugar, this one is it
We both are so excited
'Cause we're reunited, hey, hey"

We both are so excited

i didn't ask you to teach me, i wanted to know why you did something.
isn't that how people learn? i totally open to being wrong because then i learn what is right. Things change all the time, i'm definitely not a closed minded person. I could call you closed minded for not considering what i have to say.

I have something similar...
Mance's bar is much more refined and does offer the preloading feature. Mine is just a polished piece of machined bar stock aluminum with slotted steel pieces to support and hold the bolts that mount to the stock shock tower mounts. Even without preload I noticed a significant stiffening of the front suspension. The cost for the aluminum and the machine work was about $600. This is an unbelieveable deal. I have seen this piece on Mance's car and can testify to the quality of the build. The price is a bargain.

how do I at once both tell you how/why I do something yet simultaneously not "teach" you!?!
How can you say you have an open mind and want to learn by asking me something that starts off telling me you're not asking me to teach you anything? How can you both at once say you have an open mind, want to learn what is right yet discourage being taught?
Besides, you were told in the previous post about all the engineering "whys" associated with this bar. I told you, Hap told you and others chimed in as well. It fell on deaf (read closed-minded) ears. You mentioned then your feelings on the lack of need for any strut bar yet still havent answered the question as to why Audi after the first year felt one was necessary. Ever seen the strut tower/firewall seam fracture cracks on the 92 S4? Totally lost on you. We told you why on the spherical bearing as it relates to strut tower up/down movement. Waste of time. We explained about pre-loading and its benefit as related to tensional/compressive loads. Waste of typed space.
And now you're back again from outer space, just walked in with that wide-eyed look upon your face claiming you're eager to learn but dont wanna be taught.
See? This is what I mean when I say you're so damn fun to watch in action!
