Default But to start the ballast take much more than 35 watts. You should have

this relayed. I think most if not all HID kits come with relays.

you'll melt your high beam reflectors, run the 9011 HIR bulbs

Meh... I measured the current draw at less than 10 amps to start the balllast.

Default Yeah? I said I'm running the HIDS for the lows. What are you trying to say?

My sources show 100w puts out 2500 lumens. If I go 130w I should get 3000 lumens. You want me to run HIDS for the highs too?

Explain what you are trying to get at?

Default LOL. Im actually intranced by HID's I love the spectrum of light they produce...

So no I wasnt bothered by the glare if I even noticed at all. LOL.

Default OK, but P=VI. P=14 volts x 10 amps = 140 watts

The stock wiring is only intended to handle 55 watts or 4 amps (55/14). Audi obviously built in a safety factor and the fuse is more like 15 amps.

Still, to protect the stock wiring and switch, a relay is recommended IMHO.
