Too bad us American have to wait another 10 years to bring that car over. Stupid freaking government.

Hi everyone, the UrS forums over in Fourtitude doesn't seem to have much traffic anymore so I thought I'd briefly update here as well. I've finished my stint in Germany and am now back in Canada to do a PhD. I didn't bring the UrS4 Avant V8 back from Germany as planned but rather sold it in Germany for a minimal loss.

I'm picking up a domestic-spec 1994 UrS4 sedan in green with 204k km on the odo tomorrow. Brakes are gone and I am looking to upgrade while replacing worn parts. I have machining facilities at my disposal but am wondering whether I should just install S8 280mm rears and buy the caliper brackets from Apikol to upgrade for the fronts to Boxster/A8 parts well. Any brake upgrade MUST clear the factory Fuchs 8x16 wheels. Will any front brake upgrade solution using Big Red/Big Black calipers clear these wheels? I realise the 16" wheels will limit the rotor diameter to 312/314 mm in the A8, which is fine, but any caliper retrofit will cost $$$ so I want to do it only once.

This guy seems to say that Big Reds with 323mm rotors clear the Fuchs (I always want to type something different ) that he uses as winter rims. Can anyone collaborate?
