My windshield washer spray stopped working after I ran out (yes, I refilled it).
I ran dry on my windshield washer fluid and by the time I was able to put more in the tank was totally empty (no spray came out at all).
After filling the tank again now the spray doesn't work at all. I can hear the pump working, but nothing comes out. Occasionally I do get a tiny spurt, but very rarely. It's totally dry. A mechanic told me that there could be something blocking the lines. How might I go about fixing this?
Without washer fluid in this weather the car is basically useless.
Thanks.

Jonny, it's been pretty cold here lately. I'd guess the same unless you're finding washer fluid all
over the ground.
I'm not sure if a hair dryer would cut it, but it'd be worth a shot. If you work downtown, park in a heated parking lot and see if it works after a hard day's work. If it doesn't, then the line is clogged with something other than ice.
Good luck.
