Oil temp and water temps gauges don't work. Is that usually the gauge or the senders that break?

Oil temp and water temps gauges don't work. Is that usually the gauge or the senders that break?

Default Could be senders, could be cluster problem...

the water temp gauge operates by a large sensor under the intake manifold and in the water channel
